Channels

A channel is how an agent actually reaches someone. Agentic OS supports four channels today, all handled by comms-engine.

Voice Calls

Outbound and inbound phone calls via Twilio, Plivo, or Acefone.

In-app or web-embedded text conversations.

Business messaging over the WhatsApp Business API.

Text messages sent from a purchased or ported number.

Every conversation on any channel is tracked as a session — a single call, chat, or WhatsApp thread instance, viewable from the dashboard.

Regardless of channel, every completed interaction is recorded to call logs — transcript, recording (voice), duration, cost, and outcome.
