# Choosing Providers

> Picking LLM, voice, and telephony providers

| Layer       | Options                | Notes                                                               |
| ----------- | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| LLM         | OpenAI, Google         | GPT-4 Turbo balances cost/latency; Gemini for low-latency reasoning |
| Transcriber | Deepgram, Google STT   | Deepgram Nova-3 recommended for lowest latency                      |
| Synthesizer | ElevenLabs             | ElevenLabs for the most natural voices                              |
| Telephony   | Twilio, Plivo, Acefone | Plivo often cheaper for India/APAC traffic                          |
